A:Yes. This qualifies for 16 hours of either pre-certification contact hours or 16 hours of PDUs for PMPs.
Q: What type of project should I use during the practice exercises?
Each student is asked to practice the tools and techniques taught in the workshop on an actual project. This proves to be a much better learning technique than using general case studies or just talking about project management in theory.
The best projects to use during the workshop are stretch projects. Stretch projects are large, challenging, complicated projects that might make you slightly uncomfortable with. The workshop will help you break it down and create the start of a plan for how to approach it.
If you choose a simple plan, you will still learn from the process, but it might be hard to apply all of the techniques that we talk about. |
