Looking for specific PM talents?

Getting the right manager for the project is an important component to the project's success. If your industry is outside of Successful Project's area of expertise, we can still probably assist you through our large network in the project management community.

Q: We are bidding for a government contact that requires our company to assign a certified PMP to the project. We don't have one yet.  Can we use Successful Projects contract PM services for this?

A: Very possibly, however if you are unsure of being awarded the contract, details of reserving availability of the PMP contractor will have to be negotiated. In this type of contract the RFP will often require the specific name, credentials and experience of the assigned project manager.

Successful Projects can often supply that person, however there may be a retainer required to hold that project managers availability.

Q:  I have a project manager who will be going on maternity/medical leave for a few months. Can we get a 3-month fill-in project manager who can make this worth our while?

A: Yes, short term assignments often can be filled very effectively if they do not require relocation.

Successful Projects specializes in the management of Internet, Intranet, and Extranet projects as well as marketing communications projects.

The unique benefit of using Successful Projects is having one responsible person, who is not weighed down in the technical or production process, to manage the project itself.  This project management method results in greatly increased attention to project success, communication,  processes, communication, and scope management. Therefore when you are communicating about your project and exploring the constant project change ideas, it is not taking staff away from the work of getting the product produced. It allows you to communicate and analyze options objectively, without fear of offending the talent creating your product.

Having an independent project manager allows us to look for ways of reducing project costs while increasing value. Project management involves planning the project effectively and realistically in the beginning, and we manage by the plan. A contract project manager is paid by the hour, often at a more affordable rate than what production people bill at for handling the same project management work.

Contract project management has proven to be a win-win-win situation for the project manager (who is not involved with product production and therefore freed to adequately handle the project management), the production team members (who appreciate the clear plan and good communication), and most importantly - the ultimate stakeholders (who benefit from reduced cost and more professional process).
